It's a beautiful day out.

Feels pretty nice lookin' up from the computer screen to see blossoms, except for an allergic roommate who is going to have a BLAST as soon as Summer fully hits.

Lookin' for inspiration today and found nothing. A couple of my friends do some really nice stuff and they keep me going, but I stumbled upon people who don't deserve to be where they are at and it's just one of those moments where you suck your teeth and roll your eyes.

So I moved. Not so far away but it was a heavy move, nonetheless.

I've had my scanner and art supplies packed away, but alot of my friends will say that that isn't a good enough excuse.

But I have been doing my faithful little scribbles. Boyfriend bought me a book that wasn't packed away so I was ordered to draw daily things.
So here.

Just a little Poison Ivy. [I know, I like her too much.]

But after the scribbling, I looked through some of the boxes to see if I had left out some markers.
And yes, left a whole box of Copic Gray Scale markers so I went in. =]

The red and blue markers were fetched from whatever boxes weren't heavily taped. =D

This was done after I saw Underworld. [I actually liked it.]

No reference. I know it doesn't look like Rhona Mitra but it was suppose to be a sketch.

So I was asked to do a commission for a fellow artist. She asked me to draw up her own comic girl in my style. But this was ages ago.

With the moving and all the run around and finally getting internet and finding my scanner [Excuses, excuses] I finally have the first drawing.

Then more bad happened. She use to have a weapon in the other hand.
But my bad puppy decided to have a tummy ache and poo in my office and onto the side of the art, so I had to cut and white out a lot.

Now she doesn't have one arm, but the next piece I do for her, will be a lot better.

Another old piece.
From what I can remember, this seems to be my character tryna hump on another character based off a friend of mine.
No I wasn't really feeling my friend in that way, it was all story based.
Apparently he crossed her so she did the seduce thing and even killed his girlfriend. Yeah, she threw his girlfriend off a roof of a building, jumped off, AFTER her and killed her dead.
And didn't even bother to go for him after she was gone.
It was pure spite.

Sounds like something I'd do.

So the site my boyfriend works for [ www.Strictlyfitteds.com ] has this thing called Caught In The Act, where people send in all their photo shopped images of themselves wearing their favorite hats. I thought it would be funny to turn this hat moment into some thing more.

Took a bad picture of myself in the bathroom (like everyone else does) and used it as reference to make a totally new image. I can't even begin to add how long this took.
It took too long, but it just sharpened my PS skills I thought I lost long ago.

Had to keep the eyebrow rings in it. Wouldn't have it any other way.
And yes, my hair really is that color.

I think she’s becoming one of my favorite characters.
But if I was to remake her, I think I’d do a bunch of changes to her.
Probably make her brazillian. Big THICK tree trunk legs. Hmm.

Then it comes to outfit.
Would she really be in some spandex green American Apparel-type outfit? Or would it be some freakish leaf twig ensemble? Then I think about gloves. Poison tipped? Or perhaps she doesn’t do enough fighting to be giving such equipment. She usually stands around and tells her plants to go squeeze and strangle things, anyway.

Then it’s the hair thing.
I know Uma Thurman did alot for the hair, but I don’t know.
I guess it depends on the day.

I’ll figure it out.

All I had were pictures of me of when I was still a hottie.

Goliath Attacks!

Another one I designed about a hundred years ago.

The idea behind is that Goliath goes against the hype beast point of view primarily found in Soho. [The original design had the street sign Broadway & Lafayette. But I was told to remove that for it would become a straight stab to any and all stores on that street when it was in fact, ALL of Soho that the G-MAN was stomping thru, reckin’ all them lil’ sidekick kiddies.

This was a fan favorite for the store.

I took it upon meh self to attempt to color it.
I didn’t realize that I forgot how to color.
So these are some of the things I’m doing to the girl.

I don’t know how to finish or fix up any of these things.

Another tee for Goliath RF!

If you happened to pick up the last Source Mag, [Nelly on the cover lookin' like a hitman.] then you probably flipped thru the part where it showed a couple of stores and the people who make them look good.
Of course, Goliath was one of the lovely NYC stores. I cut out my part, because honestly, I looked like crap.

The hat Japa’s wearing, (Black suede w/ Tiffany embroidery) was created by me and were limited to 30 pieces!
The other hat worn by Custo (Purple wool w/ red embroidery) also by me and still available at the store.
But that’s not what we are here about! =D

KNOCK OUT: The Title Returns to Harlem.

Another hand drawn piece I did for the store last fall. It was definitely a banger that a lot of people picked up! The only drawback was that some of these people were complaining because the back had a print of “The Title Returns To Harlem”. The majority of those complaining were from Brooklyn.

Understandable. I get the whole Brooklyn vs Harlem thing.
But hey, it’s where we at! =D

This shirt sold straight out the box!
Literally. Like, I was unloading the box in the back of the store and people were coming in and asking for sizes and making me go thru other unmarked and taped up boxes to get their size.
The Black and Infared flew OUT. Like out of 100+ of those shirts. There is probably like…12 left? Maybe?
And the White & Vivid blue didn’t stand much a chance either.

The 5 Foot Assassins were Rosemary & I. We had to throw in some of the store’s inside jokes into this one.
Especially since Rose & I are a both a little over 5 feet and always talk about hurting people.
